Makai D. Coleman | 6’0 Lead Guard (2024)

“Makai is a playmaker, who has the ability to score in bunches in a multitude of ways. When you are on the top of an opposing teams scouting report day in and day out, the mental and physical toughness required to perform on a high level is incredibly demanding. Makai embraces that with hard work and humility.”

2022 ZG NERR Hoopfest

Makai D. Coleman | 6’0 Lead Guard (2024)

Yonkers native who moved to Newtown, CT last year. Played at an extremely high-level last weekend at @nerrhoops Hoop fest in Boston, Mass area.

Makai displayed supreme growth in his leadership abilities, as he did whatever was necessary for his team to be successful. Those things included improved defensive intensity and effort, great ball-handling control, elite shooting ability from all spots on the court, masterful court awareness, and playmaking abilities. Not only was he one of the top scorers in the event before going down Saturday night with an injury (which caused him to miss Sunday’s action), but he was also playing at an all-star level.

He’s doing better, and will be back in action soon! Scholarship-level schools should be taking notice, particularly high academics, as he is also an elite student.
